ISO 45001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety. Every day around 6,300 employees lose their lives across the globe due to work-related illnesses or accidents. Note that the transition period for migrating accredited certifications from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018 is extended to 30 September 2021.

Since ISO 45001 is prepared on Annex SL framework, it shares the same high-level text and common structure with other managements system standards like ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, thus making the integration much easier.
